Default Truck will not start after trans swap....

I removed my FLT level 5 the other night to send back to be refreshed. I installed a factory trans/converter back into my truck tonight. Got everything hooked up and bumped the key, but the truck failed to start. Pulled the starter and tested it, it works fine. Battery also shows to be in fine condition. The small accessory wire on the starter doesn't seem to get power when the key is being turned, however, the large wire has constant voltage. Anyone have any idea what the culprit could be? I don't recall removing any grounds from the rear of the block. The only idea i have is the neutral safety switch, although i dont understand how it would go out from simply removing it...Any help is appreciated.

Check your neutral safety switch to make sure it's plugged in...

had the same thing happen. by any chance did it mess up your fuel gauge? My fuel gauge looks like this now.

I'm trying to find out which fuse is for the fuel sending unit.
