Truck feels glued to the ground from a stop
so for a long time now (30k or so) every once in a while maybe once a week, when i leave from a stop light at normal speed there is some slight hesitation where it feels like something in the drivetrain is sticking. you can feel th engine load up, but the car wont move for like a second then it just lets go, as if it were the brakes. i'm not really sure how to pinpoint the problem, since i have gotten new rotors, pads ebrake shoes, tranny x2, and a new rear diff. since this problem has started. any ideas as to what it could be?

I would check the caliber to see if they are sticking close. In my old cyclone under hard breaking the left side caliber would stick close for second and let go. Try replace or greece the slide pins or replacing. Also look at the shoes see if they wearing more on one side than the other.

i'll defineately check that out soon, but when i had new brakes put on it still did it i just recently had it inspected at the shop i am good friends with and i think they would have let me know if there was some unusual wear pattern. i'm glad to hear that there is someone else with the same problem and i'm not just imagining this.

I believe there is a Technical Bulletin that talks about this, it says that the truck starts off from second gear instead of first or something like that, I'll see if I can find it. Mine does this once every three months!!!
