truck cab crackling under breaking

Mine makes the same creeking noises as TJ described, it is driving me nuts. It makes the truck sound like a POS. I am going to have to look for these body mount straps.

unbolt them completely or one side will still squeak.

If your truck is a regular cab it has safety straps on the rear cab mounts and they will squeak like hell. I usually either put some anti seize on them, or just take them off all together.

So, my noises I assume, are not related to what you guys are talking about.
My truck sounds like its crackling when at slow speeds and off camber, like driveways, speed bumps, or entrances.

i have those too!!!!
dont know how to get rid of them.
almost sounds like the ball joints are falling out,LOL.

Yeah, I know they are the door seals for sure. The GM cabs have way too much flex in them. That can account for all the interior rattles we get as well!

Mine is doing this as well. Started after they put on new rotors. I figure with the truck up on the lift, it let something get loose. Took it back to the dealer and they couldnt hear it. But when I got home, I got out of the truck and barely pushed on the front of the truck (side to side) and could hear the squeaking. Its driving me crazy when I have the windows down or going thru the drive thru.
