Default Transmission Problems

I just recently, like 3 months ago, bought a remanufactured 4L80E from Pheonix Remanufactured Transmissions and have had no problems. I have put 1000 miles on it with this https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=412761
and haven't had any major problems. All of a sudden today, I was on my way into town and the trans was slipping in 4th to the point where i was at 3700 RPM's just trying to maintain 65mph. I decided to turn back and by the time i reached my neighborhood, I could barely maintain 10mph at 4500rpm's. I checked my fluid and the color and level is fine but it smells horribly burnt. Any ideas. Thanks.

Unfortunately not, because the one they offered was like $550. Of course after I buy the transmission and I have problems with it, I thoroughly research this company and find countless examples of people being scammed.

A 4L80 for $500 is a totally unrealistic price. You shouldve seen that one comin man.

I believe he means the warranty was the extra $500.

That is correct. I just don't understand what could have gone wrong or why. Does anybody have any thoughts?

I know I thought I could trust them based off of their reviews on ebay. I just don't understand what could have caused it to start slipping. I even put a 22X8 1/2" cooler on it just so I wouldn't have any problems.
