Default transmission build question

I have a 94 ECSB 5.7 that i will build with a mild cam and some heads here in the near future, but this past weekend my trans went out. If i'm gonna be building a motor soon for it, i'm thinking i should go ahead and build up the tranny to accomidate for my motor build. I'm thinking around 400 hp for the motor, in a previous post, i got some good info about my motor build. I'm thinking 280 cam, some vortec heads, etc. for the trans 3200 stall, shift kit, i know i need some other mods for the tranny but im not real sure of what else i need. Thanks in advance for the input.
