yeah, read the whole A4 -> M6 thread cause it still has tons of useful info. Pretty sure its almost a plug and play for us 5-spd guys. Electrical stuff should all plug in the same (except for the CAGS thing, but who needs that...), stock hydraulics can still be used I think but with a car slave, new bearings, and obviously tranny and clutch. And your done! No black box crap, installing the clutch pedal, or swapping tranny x-members.
My 5-spd is making some god-awful noises (in 5th of all gears...), so I'm debating starting into this endeavor a little earlier than planned for my truck.

Pathfinderjr pretty much summed it up. You need a 01+ T56 slave and it mates up to your factory hyd line(you'll figure that out when you see it). Ls1 style flywheel and clutch ( I highly recommend the LS7 clutch with LS2 flywheel). Have your driveshaft shortened and use a TH350/4l60e style yoke ( I highly recommend ordering a new one from dynotechengineering.com...$375 for steel, 425 for aluminum and will hold up to 7000 rpm). Oh, and need to get your tuned redone for the different reluctor wheel on the T56 (17 tooth) for your speedo to work correctly. Also, don't expect your cruise control to work in 6th, no one has figured that one out yet. Probably due to lack of trying.

oh yeah, I forgot about that whole driveshaft thing haha.
I think I had read of some folks using the driveshaft from an A4 truck, but I'll be getting one built. Cheap insurance if you ask me...
