Default Trans and stall break in

About how long should I allow a new trans and stall to break in before beating on them?

Just make sure it has enough fluid when its warm.. Then go run the crap out of it..

Alot of people go right at it.

My guy say's 250 miles on tranny and TC. I went 220 and couldn't stand it any more

When most people buy a new car the first thing they do is "Lets see what it got" and they run hell out of 'em ... like said above check the fluids get it to runnin temp and run the f' out of it ... ... Go see what it got!!

get it up to temp, top off the fluids and drop the hammer.

I noticed the firmness of my shifts increased after a couple hundred miles...

I'd try to go 200 miles before romping on it.

My yank came with instructions to wait a few hundred miles prior to any power runs. The bushings in the transmission with basically break in after a few minutes of running.

you sure it wasnt adaptives making changes in the pcm? All clutches should be soaked before a build. they have no break in. i make sure mine are full and tell the customer have fun!
