Default Trans Slipping or Other Problem?

So did the servo, I go get food at Moes. Driving normally... Suddenly it wont shift out of first gear.
I realize there is transmission fluid, not dripping but a constant light flow. Im no more than 1000 hundred feet from where I park on campus so I just drive it over very carefully. Turns out the servo had popped out and the snap ring apparently was not in correctly even tho it held in for 2 days. I pulled the cover and the outer most servo just to check if I exploded anything, cover is fine but the outer most servo which is the disk thing, the seal got compressed a little bit and was sticking out just a tad. I mash it back in and slam it all back together. Make damn sure the snap ring is in good this time and even push on the cover a couple times to see if its nice and tight.
Well I was low quart of fluid or so I thought. I put a quart in it. Seemed to be driving fine again and to make sure I engaged tow/haul which my line pressure gets bumped up and my tune goes ***** to the wall. Lights the tires up nicely, shifts hard and pulls awesome.
Coming on to last night, doing a few errands it seems like it was not doing what it should like slipping. I put another quart of fluid in, it seemed to be low. Now sadly enough, about the same time I thought it slipped my power steering was being weird. I had to refill it so maybe just low on fluid.
And this morning, I let the truck sit overnight, to get a real good reading of how low the tranny fluid might be. (I leaked alot out... theres about 500 feet of fluid on the pavement where you can see I was leaking while driving) I put an additional 1/4 quart in and its a little high but I felt better this way.
Truck seems to be shifting correctly again, I turned the tune on and gave it some power and it seemed to be shifting right and not slipping anymore.

Am I good, and just had a scare? Or am I T-Minus a few weeks on a tranny?
(Sorry for being long winded)

Lemme get this straight... your trans leaked out a stream of fluid for approximately 500ft? Check the level while the engine was running (@ oper temp)?

As for turning on tune, are you referring to pushing the tow/haul button? This does not modify engine performance, but just changes shift points (mph) & speed (rpm) at which the transmission shifts. As long as you sealed any potential leaks, and topped off fluids to the proper level, you should be good. Drive the truck around town for a while (at least an hour of stop-n-go movement), and see what happens. If no leaks or abnormal shifting, you may be out of the woods.

BTW, how many miles are on this trans? Have you done any other mods besides servo(s)?

Honestly I have no idea how many miles. For all I know its the stock tranny with 113k on it. And no other mods to the tranny besides the vette servo. I plan on doing the 3-4 servo within the next week.

3-4 clutch pack? Or 4th gear servo?

Clutch pack - go with Red Eagles (internal part, must drop trans)
4th Gear Servo - Sonnax is a descent brand (FLT sells those sponsor -->)

If the snap ring came out you got very very lucky , Mnay times when this happens it will break a chunk out of the case.

4th gear servo. And need to order that like this week. Hopefully when I put the headers in, it wont be too much power through that weak little tranny to blow it sky high. However, a built tranny will be in by summer.
