I was coming up a small hill and decided to kick it to first at about 30mph to get around a car and it started taking off and then it was like it just hit neutral. Thinking I took out the trans I pulled into a gas station and then hit the gas and it worked again. Did the clutches just slip or is my trans about to crap out?

Trans is about to crap out.. that happened to me one month before Hurricane Ike. At least I was less than 5 miles from the house.
