Default Trans Question

I've had this trans in my truck about a year now and everything felt great, till this Sunday. Of the line at WOT the trans holds all gears no problem, but when cruising at 45mph then flooring it just bounces of the rev limiter.Sunday was the first time it ever happened but i've tried it a couple times since then and it still just hits the rev limiter. It really sucks cause thats when my truck really felt fast,WOT at 45mph would haze the tires then pull hard. Any ideas?

Weird. So at 45 is it downshifting into second from 3rd or 4th? Is your converter locked at 45 mph? 4-2 shifts are death to a 4l60e trans.

Converter doesn't lock till 62mph. I mostly drive in 3rd on the streets so it actually downshifts to 1rst really quick then shifts to 2nd.I know its really hard on the trans but the truck feels so fast when it shifts like that.

I had som issues with my servo's once that had a similar problem. There was not enough pressure on the overdrive and a washer ws all it took to fix it.

i only have the corvette servo's, haven't gotten the 4th gear servo yet. Any chance it could be a slipping converter?
