Default Trans Kits

Which would be best for a 4l80e , TransGo , HD 2 or just a SK kit .
Not wanting to have to go into the trans that far to install a kit but want to improve shift firmness .
I have a Wait4me tune right now and Jesse ( first tune I told Jesse to work his magic , he did , was way to hot for me , a truck should not be that fast sent it back and he tuned it down some for me .)made it where the trans has firmer shifts than stock , but was told that a TransGo kit would improve the life of the trans .
And if I did the TransGo kit would I have to get Jesse to go back to stock shift or what ?

I know some who have stock line pressures with their transgo and some who have theirs maxed out with the transgo. I'd suggest doing the kit for sure but you do have to drop the valve body out of the tranny to do it. or have a shop do it for a couple hundred bucks... It sounds like you are going for something pretty mild so I'd set the tranny tune back to stock with about 50-60% TM removed and shortened shift timing. it shouldnt be too bad in the 80e.

Which TransGo kit did you use HD2 or SK ?
And what if any is the difference of the two kits ?
Not affarid of pulling valve body from trans just not wanting to have to drop trans from truck to do the mods !

I have the HD2.. a lot of people have that kit. I love it. I havent driven a truck with the SK so I cant really speak on it... I dont know what the difference is either. the valve body isnt that hard.. just tedious. make sure you follow the instructions PERFECTLY!!! I think that had something to do with the reason I ended up getting a built tranny out of the deal. I smoked my 60e a day after my shift kit was in...
