Default Trans is going together.

I bought a factory GM transmission manual from Helm and it is great. It made this job simple. I do have some ?'s though. First of all I am using a TCI super pro rebuild kit that has a shift kit with it. There is no instruction with the kit. They gave me two drill bits. I called TCI to see where I drill. I was told that they are to drill the separator plate if the new gasket does not match. The old and new gaskets are the same.(WTF) I don't know where to drill it and what size. Second I am using a vette 2nd gear servo and a billet forth gear. Do I new a longer pin? If so what part#. Third is the kit came with 9 clutches for the 3-4 pack and it only has 6 stock. The problem is I can only fit 8 and still get the snap ring on. Anyone have this problem?
