Default Trans cooler

Looking to upgrade to a tb stall soon, I know my truck has got a factory trans cooler on it, should I upgrade and if so which trans cooler do most recommend? B&M, tru cool, perma cool, etc and what gvw rating?
Thanks in advance.

I have the big B&M,
From my feeble understanding you can not have too cool of a transmission, so get the largest you can.

I don't remember....It is the larger of their 2 offerings (at least at the time, it's been a couple of years.)

With the tb stall, I would probably keep the factory cooler. Also, if you are going to go through the hassle, just get a Yank 2600 or more. I suggest write down your future mods and then decide on the converter.

More than likely the issues you will have will not be from heat.

tb stall is a good cheap stall. i was cuttin 1.88's with my stock cammed ecsb 5.3. my fuddle 3200 with an ls1 was cuttin 1.88. my new fuddle does a hair better a cooler is not a MUST with the tb since its so tight.....the biggest cooler made would be the tru-cool 40,000. its what i run and it keeps me nice and cool
