Default Tranny temps

After frying my 2nd tranny in a couple of weeks (including aquiring and installing) I finally put my temp guage in. Just wondering what is a good temp, and when to start worrying.

So you're telling me that i should be concerned when mine breaks 210...

I've seen it hit ~230 during hot days...

Guess that means time for big tranny cooler

230 is high. 190 or below is where you wanna be. Did you see 230 during towing or just normal driving?
