Default tranny fluid leaking from front of the tranny

hey guys, i have problem with tranny fluid leaking a lot, almost empty....it was start slipping very little at overdrive. i notice the tranny fluid leaking..could it be just front seal leaking or major problem?

Did you turn the pressure up? Sometimes it can push the seal out. If that is the problem, I would put a bead of red threadlocker around the seal to keep it in place.

there's a pump mod you can do that some say will prevent front seal blow out. Basically you bore out the lube circuit to a largerdiameter. transgo has this info on the 80e hd2 instructions. Some say it is unnecessary or a bad mod. I did it on several and havent seen what is bad about it.
