Default Tranny Fluid Change Help in my '05 Tahoe

It is time for me to change the tranny fluid and filter in my 4L60E. I have noticed that the shift linkage is blocking two 13 mm bolts on the driver's side of the pan preventing the access I need to remove the pan.

I noticed a bolt holding the shift linkage above the driveshaft and was wondering if all I need to do is simply remove that bolt. I've done lot's of tranny fluid changes in other vehicles but have never had shift linkage to be in the way.

I'm sure there are several out there that have done this simple task. Please let me know if all I need to do is remove the shift linkage bolt or share your experience...

Thanks guys!

Unbolt the shift linkage and swing to the side. I changed the fluid/filter in my Denali and had to do the same thing.
