Smile Which tranny is the best??????

Im going to be ordering a new tranny for my 02 GMC 2wd in a few days. I will be running a mild built 6.0 and a magnacharger. I want to stay with the 4l60 and want to know wich brand is better. I know of 2 brands that have high performance trannys, one is TCI and the other is FLT. I also know a place in Pomona CA that is awsome with trannys, they are called The Toy Shop Transmissions. they are all about the same price then you add the TC so Which have you guys had better results with. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

everyone is gonna say 4L80E, i think its the tranny ran on the 6.0 2500's 3500's and 1500HD's

Do the 07's 1500's with the max trailering pack have the 4L80E's?
I just bought one but I'm not sure lol

edit: I'm a retard i didnt read the whole thing, or i would have known you meant aftermarket

FLT hands down. If you have a local guy who knows his **** then you can pick your own parts, but otherwise I'd go with FLT or Rock On Transmissions. Both are good companies

The new sponsor, Performabuilt, has a good line of trannies. I would check into RockOn. Owners of Rock On trans over on LS1Tech were having issues when the business owner was sick. They apperantly are back to building good trans though.

I am in the same boat as you. I am either going with Performabuilt, FLT, or local built. I just need to get a little more cash to add a Yank tt3200 to the mix.

i have a performabuilt and so far its awesome. shifts great but i cant say its the "best" cuz i dont have many miles on it. what miles i do have are rough though FLT has a helluva reputation over here. i woulda gone flt but i was in a time cramp with my daily driver.

Performabuilt and FLT are sponsors and both have loyal customers. My FLT 4l65e Level 5 has been holding up well but I think you might take a serious look at the 4L80e for what you have planned.
