is there a way I can put 4l80 internals into a 4l60e I like the first to second ratios on the 4l80e better than the 60 I hope some of yall have some answers

Different design. doubt parts are interchangeable.

I guess i just need more power to get where i want i guess 3rd gear especially feels sluggish compared to any other gear, i dont want the 80e cause i dont want to do the coversion and i dont want the extra weight...

Think the sluggish 3rd gear is the nature of the 60E. Of course, a performance tune would help in the power dept. Before I got mine tuned, I was pulling 8* of timing in 2nd AND 3rd gear. Talk about lag. Not anymore!

no way, no how. not going to happen, now if you had a turbo 400 and a 4l80e.......
Tuning will help, but why not a 4l80e? Put it in and beat it to death!

or buy my built 65E. Same shitty gear ratios but better than stock trans. LOL
