I had always planned on going bigger than this on this truck, but I found a place where I could get a hell of a deal on a new TB converter. I have heard that behind the 5.3 these things can go from 2600-3000, 3000 under limited cases. But how hard are the TB Converters on the 4L60E trans? I am wondering if a TB Converter would be easier on the trans than say a yank or fuddle or any other aftermarket verter, or would it not make a difference either way. I know if the trans is going to blow, its going to blow.

Guys with TB Verters behind 5.3's, what are ya'lls stalling up to?

I never had my TB stall behind the 5.3 cause I put it in at the same time I put in the LS1. It had a flash stall at about 2700-2800. I haven't tried it yet w/ the LQ9
