I have the VAS on my truck. Guys seem to have good luck. there are numerous people with GMT800's who have run 1.4 60' times with them.
Bars help traction because they take axle twist and turn it into downward force driving the axle away from the chassis and into the ground.

Better tires that arent a hard street compound should help out quite a bit. Traction bars and shocks will help keep things more cosistent imo, but are less a “must have” compared to 2wd stuff. Front limit straps also help once you start trying to leave aggressive with some power..
tires with some sidewall and heat in them will do wonders tho id guess as a start..

Assassin bars, adjustable shocks and good tires. About as good as you're gonna get on leafs. You can start modifying the stock leaf pack but even that isn't really proven. Do you have tie rod sleeves or anything up front?
I like the assassin bars over the calverts mainly for the adjustability. I had long bars on my ext cab truck back in the day but it still spun like crazy. Just went straighter and without wheel hop.
