has any body seen the new tr-6060. its going in the new pontiac g8 gt i guess its rated for 600lbft and its a 6speed. i wonder if this would be a stonger 6speed for truck swaps. i guess it is derived from the Tremec T-56.

I hadn't heard anything of it but the G8 is rear wheel drive.

 

yeah its rear wheel drive. i guess its going in the 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 (remote mount shifter with dual braces and single linkage)

but the g8 gt seemed like it had better gearing for our application. now to see what the GVW is for the trans.

 

They shift a little heavier than a T-56 but the engagment is amazing, i drove one of my friends dad's GT500
