Default Towing with TCI Streetfighter 3000

I know the converter has no tow rating, But can it be done? I have to tow a 2000# boat 60 miles. Has anyone towed with this converter? I do have an after market trans cooler.

Thanks for any info

Good bye lock-up clutch, I wouldn't even think of it with a TCI.

I'm runnin the SF and I don't think I would tow anything that heavy unless there was absolutely no other option. If the TCI is coming out afterwards and the run is flat ______ flat you might be alright.

You'll be fine. I tow around 6,000 lbs 100 miles easy. Your tranny will only get warm in stop and go traffic and really hammmering on it.

Yea im in FL so its pretty flat. Yea I dont really have any other option its either tow the boat or loose it. (long story) 99% (60 miles) of the run is on the highway as the boat is 1 mile from I-4 and I live .5 mile off of I-4.

Should I keep the truck in 3rd on the highway, Change the tcc apply release speeds? I just need to make it there and back then the TCI is comming out. I appreciate the responses.

-Thanks

The problem is the shitty material the lockup clutch is made of, it won't stand up to much load, it might make your trip there and back, but the lockup will fail, has on virtually every TCI I have ever seen.
