Don't know about what color key does what.

As far as install. Get it high on jack stands or frame support lift. Remove the wheels, shocks, sway bar links, tie rod end, and axle. Loosen the jack screws in the key, remove the lower ball joint nut and split it. Allow the lower control arm to swing down as far as it will. Should then be able to remove the jack screw support. Drive the torsion bar out toward the front of the truck. Then reverse the process.

ive never done it, but i heard you put it on jack stands, and losen the T bar keys all the way. Then losen the cross member and smack it with a hammer... now this could be completley wwrong. i just am repeating what i heard.

Not sure how much you are looking to lower your truck, some people have been able to get 1 1/2 to 2" with the stock keys. When I lowered mine one side didn't need a new key and the other side did.... You could always try and adjust before getting new keys and see how far they will adjust. Keep in mind you WILL need an alignment after adjusting.

You can use a two jaw puller to remove the keys, I will attach a link to an Avy site that someone did a write up with pictures. It can be done, but since it will need an alignment afterwards anyway not sure it's worth the time and energy to do yourself, but here is the link, hope it works for you and good luck. http://www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com...c,24551.0.html

Yeah probably could do it that way also. Definitely easier. I was swapping LCA's so had to go deep. If I was just doing the keys I would try something different.
