Default Torsion Bar Bolt Question??????

I Got 20" Rims and the tires I got turned out to be 33" Dia so I Had to crank my T/B Bolts to raise the front. When I got to the Passanger side the Bolt was Loose :o. To get the same measurement (Ground To Fender/ Fender to tire) It was a different amount of turns for each side. Does this sound normal? Couldn't they have engineered it better? anyone else have this. cause now I got tires that are 1 1/4 smaller and to get back down to where I was the bolts are totally different heights. is this normal???????

It is normal. On mine the passenger side has about 2 threads left on it, the driver side is only half way in. I have not heard a good reason for them being different from the factory side to side. I adjusted them so each side was the same on measurements with the fender heights.

yes that is normal, you should get it aligned, after adjusting them. if you have them cranked all the way in they will most likely have to lower it down to get back in line.

Also keep in mind that when you crank them you need to tighten a couple turns then drive around the block to allow the suspension to reset, tighten, drive, tighten, drive etc etc until you get where you want to be.
