Default Torsion bar adjusters ?

WTF is up with this. I have never touched the torsion bar adjusters and never really paid attention to them. No one else had reason to touch them either. DS adjuster is cranked as far as it can go. Anyone else get a factory set-up like this? Curious to check if my Z-height is the same on both sides. Truck is off warranty next month(whatever is still original anyway) so I'll be pointing out all these little things to the dealer next week.

wow was your truck used? it shouldnt be cranked all the way like that. the trucks wont be exactly the same amoutn adjusted from side to side though. i bet you would get a better quality ride if you were to crank it down a little though.

Nope. Factory ordered. That has to be the way it came. Unless it adjusted itself. 42000 km(25000 mi) on it. I'd swear that the ride has gotten stiffer. Ride is what sold me on the AV in the first place. Couldn't believe the difference after test driving Hemis and F150s.

It's pretty common to have one bolt cranked all the way and the other with half of its threads exposed. I checked mine in my Avalanche and it was the same way. Last time I checked the AV site everyone pretty much had the same deal going on. As far as I know it's normal.

So much for adjustability. I'd say they screwed up on the torsion bar specs for this vehicle. Probably just grabbed something from the parts bin and said "close enough."

You know, mine came with one side pretty much cranked all the way too, maybe 2-3 turns left.

Yes, the bolt takes pressure off the key.

Yup. For smaller adjustments. This will change your alignment though.
