Default Torque specs for brakes

Does anyone use the torque specs on guidepins on the calipers?

The front is 80 lbs.

The rear is 31 lbs and I have stripped out two of the sliders. Im just tighten now with a wrench.

Does anyone not use this?

I've never torqued a caliper bolt or slider bolt in my life.

Blap it with a 3/8th impact or snug tight by hand.

Gúdentïte!!!!!! Know theres torque spec but have seen too many back out when torqued to spec... If youre striping guide pins are the threads right and are you using a half inch or is the guide just spinning in the bracket???

This is the rear brakes.

The bolts are tearing the threads out of the slider or the piece that goes up into the bracket.

Seems like after you get to wrench tight and put on a torque wrench and start to approach the spec, this is when the bolt tears the thread out.

The slides are the Napa brand mid grade caliper kit with their bolt.

I put the factory slide back in.
