Torque converter question

If your going to do the converter first, I would at least put a decent size cooler and raise the line pressure thru the tune. Depending on the size and stall of the converter, its going to add ALOT of heat to the trans which could burn it up. If you want it done right, I would do the converter and shift kit at the same time. Thats just my .02

That's what I decided to do, I had access to a lift this morning and did some other stuff instead. I was worried about the heat and I know the line pressure would decrease and make the shifts mushier than GM did out of the box. I have a pile of parts (longtubes, converter, and soon to be a camshaft kit.) and I'll just wait until I get a shift kit and have time to just put it all in at once and get it tuned.
