yea.. It'll shift into 4th at 200+mph

You can change the WOT shift points Using HPT or EFI. but no reason to do so if your WOT.

yea its been tuned but sometimes when peolpe think they can pull on a truck on top speed, i dont want it to cut out at about 128ish because of my 4.10s. it would be nice if it shifted so i can go a lil more....when i had my 3.23s in there my indash dvd player said i was goin 140ish a couple times and that thing was accurate..sucks that im almost the only one in my town that likes to make a truck "quick"...everyone else is into cars or something small..im all alone lol

If you had it tuned the tuner more than likely set your 4th upshift very high like 170++
The reason for this is the 60e does not like WOT 4th gear shifts.
It can be the end of the tranny in no time flat.
Can it be tuned to go into 4th sure.
Would i....no but your not me so you make the call.
In the end it's to save the tranny not to mention overall to fast for your tires more than likely, light *** end at that speed and the driveshaft can let loose at those speeds.

I'm not saying your dumb, you asked the who, what, where and why so i gave the 411. That's all.
I've personally had my ecsb up to 152 before when it shifted into 4th lol.
This was with 3.42 gears of course so it went to 150 in 3rd at 6k or so.
We all do crazy stuff from time to time.

losing a drive shaft at 130+ mph would NOT be fun...

honestly i would not let it hit 4th at WOT all i ever hear is that it is a killer of transmissions. How fast do you max out in third? i have had my hoe up to just over 130 according to my GPS (which is pretty damn accurate) but my 33"s get a little sloppy at anything over like 115 unless they are fresh off being balanced. i didn't check to see what RPM i was at but it seemed to have alot left. i'm always afraid of the DS blowing up. i was at my dyno shop learning some tuning tricks with my tuner and an ecsb 6.0 blew one at like 120. scared the f'in **** outa all of us

OK, my opinion here, take offense if you like

I would NEVER want to shift into 4th WOT, only because the speed required to do so is unsafe in a truck and may cause injury or death to myself or worse, somebody my 5200lb projectile slams into. I just couldn't bare to spend any more time in the hospital if unlucky enough to live though that.
Not to mention tires, drive-shaft and a plethora of other parts pretty much make failure a high probability. I let out at 120....if I take it that high. I try to keep most high speed action to the track as the cost of a 100+mph ticket would be unbearable.
Wanting to go over 100mph in a full size truck is an immature and irresponsible act. I am guilty as are others but OH I do try to behave
