top speed

OK, my opinion here, take offense if you like
I would NEVER want to shift into 4th WOT, only because the speed required to do so is unsafe in a truck and may cause injury or death to myself or worse, somebody my 5200lb projectile slams into. I just couldn't bare to spend any more time in the hospital if unlucky enough to live though that.
Not to mention tires, drive-shaft and a plethora of other parts pretty much make failure a high probability. I let out at 120....if I take it that high. I try to keep most high speed action to the track as the cost of a 100+mph ticket would be unbearable.
Wanting to go over 100mph in a full size truck is an immature and irresponsible act. I am guilty as are others but OH I do try to behave

You're just asking for something to fail when everything's spinning that fast, and when it does, you're toast.

shifting into 4th at wot on a stock/single disc converter will toast it in noooo time.it your really wanting to be able to shift into 4th at wot you need to get a built converter thats a triple disc.there able to handle the shock load of the spinning that fast and shifting.a good 3 disc will cost ya upwards of $900
