Default Tires...

Currently I am running Michelin Pilot Sports in a 275/35/20, however, now I see they only make the all season version of this tire in that size. Size wise, I am looking at either a 245/40/20 or a 275/35/20 as they are the same height, just different widths.

Of course I want it all, long lasting, sticky, and something that looks good. I know I can't have all of this, but I can wish can't I? These will be for daily driving, dry and wet. Price is not a concern, well it is, but I was planning on paying $350 a tire for the Pilot Sports.

In a 275/35/20 my choices are:
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
BFG g-force TA KDW
Nitto NT555
Hankook Ventus Sport K104
Falken Azenis ST-115

In a 245/40/20 my choices are:
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S
BFG g-force TA KDW
Nitto NT555
Hankook Ventus Sport K104
Falken Azenis ST-115
General Exclaim UHP
Cooper Zeon 2XS

edit: Forgot the Generals in the poll, can a mod fix this?

I've had my KDW's on for 28,000 miles. I commute in the truck everyday to work, 108 miles round trip. Other than the slightest of wear on the outside of the fronts, they look brand new. 70-80mph in the rain is not a problem ( I should put that in perspective - I was scared shitless in the rain with the stock Generals - the KDW's, not scared at all)

I say Nitto's.....I have the 404's on mine and the ride got a lot better with those tires(285/50) to my Maxxis (255/70). The hook fairly well too...dry or wet.

Yokohama make a tire thats not been out long and it is for trucks and suvs only it is a high performance tire and it hooks like a slick and on wet roads it the best. I have had alot of tires but this tire is the best in the all around class. Don't take my word try them because at one time I thought I new alot about tires until I got theses. Yokohama AVS High Performance.

I have to say in all seriousness buy the KDW's. I'll promote those tires anywhere someone asks about them. As far as performance goes, if you have the money to spend on them buy them, I promise you won't be disappointed (as long as you don't try to drive them in the snow... you'll just be all over the place)

I had them on my colorado and now another set on my silverado. Everyone I know whose driven on them or rode in a car/truck with them on had nothing but rave reviews for them. Plus they look cool.

Well, I talked to a few people with the Hankooks and and went ahead and ordered them. I haven't put them on yet, but hopefully I will be satisfied.
