Thinking of swapping to a 14 bolt have a question

Ask him if the RPO option code was AXN.
Most likely he is sending a 1500 HD or 250 0LD 8 lug if its from an 04 and is truely a 9.5 ring and pinion other wise its a 10 bolt. See if he has a vin# and call the dealer.

Only way I know is with a set of custom made brake flange brackets and some 88-98 4x4 6 lug axles. Then your factory 1500 brakes will bolt right up. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...thread-467473/
That's the same type of unit I used for EvilGMC's truck and that's basically how we ended up doing it. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ctures-477641/
I never found a set of rotors that would work with the offset for that set up.

I have decided to send this rear end back. They did find the proper one for $1250. I am going to go with the 88-98 4x4 6 lug rear. I want to do a different suspension anyways, so it would be a good time to swap it over.
