Tci rebuild kit ???
#4
Buying parts and having them installed or installing them yourself is just not a cost effective way to go about it in my opinion. There certainly are many good builders out there, but they will already have their own resources for acquiring the parts. The internet is full of stories about guys who are not experienced in building their own transmission and suffer failures in a a short period of time... regardless of who's kit is installed.
I don't want to discourage you, don't want to steer you in the wrong direction either. But in my opinion your hard earned money would be better spent working with a seasoned performance builder who has a reputation for building very nice transmissions.
Some kits are very good, some are crummy. I don't think I would go with a TCI package myself. If you'd like to discuss some options and folks I would recommend you get your kit from just call me and I'll be happy to discuss it with you in detail.
Either way you go... good luck with the project!
