i know stall converters help out a lot. and they weigh 1/2 as much as stock, what are the advantages in the weight difference?

you freeing up 20lbs or so of rotational mass is actually more tehn just holding 20lbs. Think of your motor haveing to spin 55 lbs. VS say spinning 35lbs. Make sense?

rotational mass is equivalent the about 4 times dead weight, so saving 20lbs on something the rotates is like losing 80 pounds.

yes, i know its rotational mass, i was wondering how having that weight loss effects the performance of the engine and stuff.

well it's got less weight to spin now, so it puts the power it used to use to spin the extra weight to the wheels.
