Are you talking about horsepower and torque being equal at 5250 rpm? If so I thin it is because horsepower is derived from a mathematical equation or vice versa I can't remember which.

My truck ran better locking the converter up in 3rd. With it unlocked just felt like the converter was slipping at WOT. With it locked, it just keeps pullin.

so i guess its the mph you look at then i guess at 5250 rpms in 3rd gear is where you would want it to lock up at.

i lock mine in 2nd


i have my first dyno i'll try to get up here but the hp and tq cross at 4700


and my 2nd dyno cross right at 5225 to 5250
