Back to the topic at hand...
I've got a Vigilante 9.5" converter in my 96 impala SS that is rated at 3200RPM (but flashes closer to 3800) and it (plus sticky tires) was the single best dragstrip mod that I have done to that car yet.

you guys just wait until I actually do something to it. When it ran 12.97 it was still my daily driver. I put over 100k miles on it while racing and doing bolt-ons. I was too afraid to get into the motor. Now that I've got a truck to use as a daily driver and to tow it with, I'm about to finally pull the valve covers off and get to work inside
