No, thats about right for a TB stall. It will brake stall to about 2200rpms but when you flash it off the line it should hit around 2600rpms.

That sounds about right. My Vig 3000 only brake stalls to 2500.

with my 3.42's and the TB conv. it would stall to 2550-2600 and it would flash at about the same too,

then when I installed my 4.10's it would stall to about 1900rpm!! and I was pissed... (thats when I didnt know the difference between stall and flash) but it did flash at 2500-2600rpm...

by the way a retune always helps out..

What the converter will "flash" stall to . Stop on a straight road. Release teh brake and let teh truck roll free, then hammer it, watch the Tach, and where the truck starts to move (or smoke the tires) is your flash stall. Usually its a little higher than brake stall unless you have tall gears (lower numbers)

yeah, i have no clue how people can figure out flash crap. when i try this method it immediatly breaks traction and shoots to 4000 rpm.
