TB STALL, not happy

As far as engine performance, a lot of times with higher stalls you end up picking up some false misfires and the PCM tries to correct for them by retarding timing etc. Usually I just adjust the misfire codes and change the lock up stuff

To see what the flash stall is you need to have traction...If you're spinning it's hard to tell. Brake stall is just that, while holding the brake how high will it rev before the engine overcomes the brakes and as said before flash is how high it revs before moving...when you have traction. Also heavier vehicles will have a higher flash with the same converter, and a engine with more torque will stall higher too. As an example I put a converter in my 70 Chevelle that flashed at 3500 in a small block Malibu, yet it flashed at about 4500 in my big block Chevelle...heavier car with more engine. Later

just sit at a stop then stab the gas and see where the rpms jump to before you hear all the squeeling...thats your flash cuz it just jumps up there without running through the rest of the rpms in acceration.
