Update: I got the trans out of the truck. If i put it in neutral it spins easily by hand, but the input shaft spins opposite the output shaft, is that normal?

If i put it in any gear though it wont turn at all.


I've already got a rebuild kit on the way from t56 rebuilds.

Thanks for the pics man, but i gotta admit that i don't know crap about trannies and just assume pay a pro to do it for me. Its one of the few things that i don't even really want to learn lol.

 

the shaft spinning backwards its in reverse. can you remove the shifter and manually move the shift forks?

 

PM one of the FLT guys, they are awesome, I imagine they might know whats going on.

 

I've already got a 4A rebuild kit coming from t56 rebuilds, might as well upgrade while its out and torn apart.
