Default Suspension drop question

I have the 04 1500 crew cab and using denali oem wheels. Got some pretty good sized shoes on them. I have lowered the rear 2" with DJM shackles and it looks really good. IMO this truck looks lower than most I have seen. I have bought a set of Mcgaughy's 1" front coil springs that have been sitting at my house ready to go on. I want to lower the rear one more inch in conjuntion with this, but don't know the best way. Any ideas? Can I use a 2" hanger and modify the mounting position? Also, will I need to change shocks with this and if so, what are the best to keep close to factory ride?

Have you ever considered dearching your leaf springs for that extra 1" drop in the rear?

No, to tell the truth I haven't. I will never claim to know too terribly much about suspensions, thats why I came in here. I might have to look into that.

i would put a 2" hanger kit on there and then just put the shackles on the 1" setting. that will give you 3" and your truck will look good like that. although you know me i would do about a 2/4" kit. that would be awsome

Yeah, well I just hate to have to go and buy a 2/4 since I've already got the 1" coils. Plus truck looks pretty good where its at now, just want a hair lower. Brandon, I'll buy the hangers and stuff and beer and you get elected to help me with the install. lol.
