Default Summit driveshaft loops large enough for 5" stock AL DS?

Just wondering if anyone has gotten any of the DS loops from summit for their stock 5" OD DS. Can't tell if the ones on there are large enough for the 5" DS.

I don't think it would work on a 5" shaft. IIRC it's pretty tight on my Camaro and that has a 3" DS. What's tight is on the sides, where it bolts together. If you countersunk or even welded that part it might work. Going off my 3" shaft, I don't think you'll get an inch on either side though.

Yeah, I called summit and they said the same thing. Looks like custom is my only option (aside from putting in a 2 piece). Thanks.
