Default Stupid tranny question lol

hey guys,

Im new to this forum but I already am hooked. I have a question and even though it may sound stupid can someone please help me.

I have an 05 silverado VHO (lol I think). It had the 6.0 liter in it, it says vortec 6000 on the engine cover, its 2wd etc. What I am wondering is what transmission do I have? The only reason im confused is that when i look the vin up it says silverado 1500HD.

Any help would be appreciated.

Andy

its an extended cab with the 2 front regular doors and the rears are the suicide doors, and I dont know if it makes a difference but when I was trying to get brakes for it, the brakes that worked for it were listed under an 05 silverado 1500, and my wheels are 6 lug with disc in the front and drum in the back.
