I just ordered the grade 8 bolts and some rod end adjusters, those should give me the little extra length to reach all the hole, and it will allow me to put a wrench on the tubes.

Decided to add a little more bracing, just in case since i have no idea on how much torque is put on that piece. Everything is 3/16 steel and the tubing is 1.25 .120 wall steel, soo this probably over kill but better safe than broken...

also looking at the pictures, i should have angled the mounting holes at a better angle, but oh well it will work...

I got the brackets all done today and painted... I picked up the tubing for the actual bars. I am still waiting on another set of weld in bungs... The adjusters i bought have female RH threads and male LH threads.. Soooo i the ones i had were not correct, hopefully they should be here next week.

Here are the adjusters, they are QA1s, also they are chrome moly (however you spell it) soo these combines with the regular rod ends should be me plenty of length to run any of the adjustment holes i want....

here are the adjusters attached to the rod ends and bung.

Yeah the rear bracket has about 8.5 inches and the front has about 10.5 inches of clearance from the ground. I guess that is OK i will see if they snag on anything
