Thanks guys. Honestly i dont know much about suspensions. For all i know these may make my lack of traction worse. I just read alot about different things and sat underneath my truck alot looking at things.

I got the poly bushings installed today, what a PIA. I also removed the overload spring. I got all the new brackets installed. Suprisingly the fit great!!! Also the angle of the front bracket is great because i wont have to adjust the bars much at all to reach all the holes. I tried to get the angles of the bar for the different holes but my angle finder is not working so i gotta pick up a new one.

I will post up some pics shortly.

Will the bars being flat like that be better than aiming downward like most other setups?

I like your front mounts being supported by the body mounts. Did you use a backing plate on the back side of the frame. I would recommend it if you didn't. The mounts I made for mine tried pulling out thru the bolt holes, even with large washers. Coned the washers and frame along with slightly twisting the mount which was 1.5" square tube reinforced on one side with 2" angle. Your mounts look very sturdy otherwise.

No i did not use backing plates on the back side of the frame, but after what you just posted i will get some made up. That is crazy that it dimpled the frame and twisted the bracket. Thanks for the heads up.

Honestly i was kinda guessing on alot of this because i have no idea how much force is going to put on that bracket.

finally all the parts came in today, i got the bars finished up and mounted... I will take them off this weekend and paint them.... Combined with the new poly bushing and losing the overload spring, the truck rides 10x better... I dont get the clunking from the leaf springs loading and unloading while cruising anymore... Also on a WOT run from 30-90, the back passenger side was buried into the ground... all in all the truck rides, handles and accelerates 10x better.... Also no more vibrations at WOT, which is awesome!!! i was starting to get scared that i fucked up the tranny build...

anyways here are the pics.

So when are you going to clean up the shock mounts and sway bar stuff?

Bars look good, wish I wouldnt rip those off at the deer lease.

Actually i might not do all of that. I started looking into building a 4-link instead. I had alot of fun building those bars, it actually made modding fun again. I have been talking with one of my developers at work, he is a old school drag racer, anyways he has kinda talked me into building it. Sooooo. I gotta think about it for awhile. I priced out everything (qa1 coil overs, comp eng brackets, watts link, etc) and it all came out to ~$1200. Which is doable but will require a ton of planning. Soooo i dunno
