Default Stalled guys, help!

Ok, truck has a 3k TCI converter, its bright red so Im assuming its a TCI, cant think of anyone else that paints it red.

Issue: When hot, A/C on, both and very intermittently the truck will act like a manual with a shitty driver. Take off from a light and its like its in 2nd then drops to 1st then jumps as if you let the clutch out too quick. Does it for every gear, the juggling thing. Part throttle as well, as if you were going to pass someone. At WOT or about 1/2 it doesnt do it. I was told the truck was tuned, I think it was half assed due to things the truck does that my 6.0 swap did when it was untuned.

I looked the truck over and checked out everything, all in all pretty solid, nothing random or out of place, just the tune sucks I think. I cant really pitch 350 bux right now for a full tune so if I can at least get it driveable on my own with HPT I would be much appreciative. Sorry for the long post, I've heard its possibly the converter itself needing replaced as well.

I would think a bright red converter would be a Yank not TCI.

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question.

I would try a stock convertor to see how it acts. That would be the cheapest route to go. I tried to contact the guy I got it from to see if he knew but no response.

Thanks dude I appreciate the offer, trucks actually starting to run a little better more of the time. No chatter coming from it, just fixed the 2 gaping exhaust leaks, next is plugs and wires and 1st of the month it will be getting tuned, driveability and dyno. I know Nic will find the gremlin causing all of this. Thanks everyone
