Default Stall Question

I am considering the GMPP 4l60e Part# 19156259
for reasons of reliabilty over performance (It is $2000 and brand new and a rebuild will cost up to $2000 and take my core)

The concern I have is the tranny is supplied with a 2300ish converter, I believe my stock is roughly 1600?

Will the computer need to be retuned for this or is it close enough to not matter. If I do this i would prefer to use the new converter over my old abused one.

I have already spoken with FLT about there lvl 7, however a future 6.0 or 408 may be out of the question or at least on hold for a few years

I do thank the guys at FLT for there fast email responces!!!

That's possibly the 300mm 4.8L converter, which comes with a higher stall than the 300mm 5.3L stock converter. It will most likely improve your daily driving experience, and you won't need to get re-tuned for it.
