224/230 114* will want ~3200 or maybe a little more depending on your usage imo.

I was looking at about a 2800. Make it a tight converter. i don't want it to be real loose because I still want to be able to tow. I was looking at a 9.5" billet backed one.

Yank makes a real good billet converter, tight and very efficient. SC2800 is what I run myself. Your bottom end is a little better than mine with the larger displacement.
