Stall for my ATI procharger setup
#1
i have a 3200 pi stall from an ls1 camaro multidisc converter ...it flash stalls about close to 4k and from brake stall w/ slicks it gives about 3300 ..is this stall to big for my setup? i have the following mods...
fullbolt ons, procharged 8 pounds of boost , 3200 pi stall , 218/228 .563”/.571” 114LSA +3 advance cam.
The truck from a 40mph roll and down it feels real strong and pulls hard,, but when i do some 55mph and up rolls and step on it i feel it does not pull like it should .. could this be because of the stall beign too loose... should i go with a 2800 truck stall?

Thats exactly the type of stall I need. I have a "truck" 10.5" 3000 stall pi and its not enough. It will only brake stall to 2350 rpm. Granted I have a larger cam and vic. jr intake so my low end power is suffering more than yours. Wanna trade?

Loose converter for a centrifugal charger IMO, I say keep the one you have. It not pulling as hard from different speeds will just be from catching it out of its powerband. My truck pulls like a raped at from certain roll speeds and feels like a dog from others.
Find out what speeds it likes to roll from best and make sure if you run with anyone you do it from that mph.
