Default What's that noise?

A while back, I started hearing a strange noise that sounded like it was coming from my transmission. I did a search and found that people were having a similar noise with a bad tune, so that's what I thought it was. I've had the same Nelson tune for a couple of years now so that made me a little skeptical.

Well, now instead of a shuddering there is a grinding metal sound. What the hell is going on??? I do have a Fuddle converter and I heard something about clutch pack problems or something like that. Could that be it?

Thanks,
J.R.

I would drop your pan and do a visual inspection to look for converter clutch debris and or metal coming from the converter. Vince

I just had the fluid flushed about 800 or so miles ago. Would the debris still be there?

I have a stock converter, if you need one, its an 06 with like 4k on it. Otherwise if ur gonna go bigger get a TB stall its cheap and effective.
