My vote is for 3200+. With a 3200-3400 converter that is 10.5" you will still be able to tow a little bit as long as you have a good cooler. One way to go about cooling a transmission. If you have a big converter you will mostlikely not be able to keep it cool enough with out numerous coolers. I have a rv cooler, like 21"x21" and with a loose 2800 converter and after to sprayed runs in bou t90 degree weather after driving an hour to tune i nthis weather i stayed right around 157-163 trans temp.

That B&M is a good cooler. I believe they are made by Tru-Cool, which make that plate style low pressure drop cooler for several companies. No matter which brand you choose that is the style you want to get, I would stay away from the cheap aluminum fined jobbers.

the only way you can tow with that and no worry is if you get a triple disc
