Stall Converter Update
#1
Just wanted to chime in on my TCI Converter, so far I have been very happy with the performance of it, but this has been the best part. Last week we got 8" of snow here, and usually my truck sucked in snow, could not even get out of my driveway last year. This year my truck could go through the 8" of snow with the best of them. And this is what I found to be the difference.
With the 3000 stall as I stepped on the gas, the truck would roll through the snow, instead of spinning the tires, even in the drifts up to the fram all I had to do was put the trans in manual low and pull through the drift. It was an eye opener! Have seen alot of guys sweat about driving their trucks in the snow with their stall converter, no nead, they do great. Anyone else have experience with snow and a high stall, drop in your 2 cents. Hopes this helps others with their decision. By the way, my truck is a two wheel drive, not a 4 wheel drive, for those of you questioning the drivability in the snow.
